Now, in part this comes from the location of some many of the VC firms there, and the desire for some proximity - but wouldn't it be nice if this totally new type of tech could select a totally new location to focus around...
The startup is today announcing that it has raised $15 million, money that it plans to use to double its team (currently numbering 25) and set up shop on the West Coast, specifically Los Angeles.
